Nuggets' Kenneth Faried: Produces big double-double while starting Sunday

Faried put up 18 points (5-10 FG, 8-9 FT), 14 rebounds, four blocks, one steal and one assist across 28 minutes in Sunday's 112-105 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

Though the Nuggets dropped their second game in a row since moving Faried into the starting lineup over Nikola Jokic, the 26-year-old was still the team's top frontcourt performer in Sunday's loss. He finished with season highs in points, rebounds and blocks, and looks to be a better fit alongside Jusuf Nurkic than Jokic, who is a more natural center. Expect Faried to continue running with the top unit, though it's unlikely he'll see more than 30 minutes in most games.
