Cavaliers' Mike Dunleavy: Starts at shooting guard Sunday

Dunleavy will start at shooting guard for Sunday's matchup with the Hornets, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

J.R. Smith suffered an ankle injury during Friday's matchup and has been ruled out Sunday, giving Dunleavy the chance to run with the top unit. Dunleavy has averaged just 16.1 minutes per game so far this season, but should get the chance for extended time Sunday with Smith out of the lineup. However, Iman Shumpert and Richard Jefferson could also see added run on the wing, so there's a chance coach Tyronn Lue may just take a committee approach to filling Smith's minutes.
