Rockets' Patrick Beverley: Set to start practicing in a week

Beverley (knee) could return to practice next week and start playing by the end of the month, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Beverley had surgery in October on his left knee and was set to miss about three weeks. After being reevaluated Thursday, he's predicted to be ready to start practicing within a week and hopefully start participating in games by the end of November. Although he was targeting a mid-November season debut, it appears as if Beverley is going to require a little extra rehabilitation time in order to be at full health coming into his 2016-17 campaign.
