Clippers' DeAndre Jordan: Hits 6-of-9 shots in blowout win

Jordan provided 16 points (6-9 FG, 4- 8 FT), nine rebounds, three blocks and one assist across 24 minutes in Wednesday's 111-80 win over the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

Jordan's field-goal percentage has lagged through the Clippers' first eight games, but it seems he's found his touch near the rim for at least the last two contests, as he's connected on 10-of-14 shots. The Clippers have had the luxury of keeping Jordan below the 30-minute mark four times already this season thanks to a slew of blowout wins, though that hasn't necessarily been a welcome development for his fantasy owners, since it's translated to lower numbers across the board. While the Clippers are clearly one of the league's top teams, they won't hold down a plus-16.9 point differential over the full season, and that should translate to more minutes and production for Jordan in the games to come.
