Rockets' Patrick Beverley: To be reevaluated Thursday

Beverley (knee) will be reevaluated on Thursday when the Rockets return to Houston, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Beverley underwent surgery on his left knee at the end of October and was slated to miss roughly three weeks of action. It's been just over two weeks since that operation and he's started doing some light shooting and running during his rehab sessions, so he appears to be making steady progress. That said, the team expects to reevaluate Beverley Thursday, which should give a better indication on whether or not he'll stay true to his original three-week timeline. Also, it remains to be seen what kind of role he'll have when at full strength, as the Rockets could keep James Harden as the team's primary ball-handler.
