Grizzlies' Tony Allen: Ruled out Tuesday
Allen (groin) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup with the Nuggets.
Analysis:
Allen has dealt with both a hip and groin injury over the past couple of days after being pulled from Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers before ultimately returning. The Grizzlies decided it was best to hold the veteran out Tuesday in order to give him an extended rest, with the Grizzlies not back on the schedule until Saturday against the Bucks. It's expected that James Ennis, who had started six of the Grizzlies' first seven games before moving to the bench Sunday, will replace Allen in the starting five Tuesday.
