Korver out Tuesday after wife delivers child

Brett Davis / USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Hawks won't have sharpshooter Kyle Korver on hand for Tuesday's away game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Korver's wife gave birth to the couple's third child (a son named Koen) Sunday, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Not having their best wing player available against LeBron James and his undefeated Cavaliers is a daunting proposition, but Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer is choosing to find the silver lining in Korver's absence.

"Kyle is obviously hugely important to us but there will be more opportunity for Tim (Hardaway Jr.), Thabo (Sefolosha), (Kent Bazemore), maybe (Taurean) Prince. I think it’s good," Budenholzer said.
