Spurs' Tony Parker: Plans to be active Wednesday

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said expects Parker to be available for Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Mike Monroe of The Rivard Report reports.

Analysis:

The Spurs suggested on Friday that Parker would miss around a week, but it appears the veteran point guard is recovering quicker than expected from the sore right knee. Parker missed both ends of the Spurs' back-to-back set over the weekend, but if he's indeed cleared to play Wednesday, it's expected that he'll immediately reclaim starting duties at point guard. Patty Mills would move back to the bench in such a scenario.
