Kings' Rudy Gay: Ruled out vs. Bucks

Gay (ribs) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup with the Bucks, Sean Cunningham of ABC 10 Sacramento reports.

Analysis:

The team announced earlier Saturday that Gay was battling a rib cartilage strain, and it will indeed sideline him for the first time this season. The exact extent of the injury is unknown, so it's still a possibility that the veteran forward could suit up Sunday against the Raptors, one of his former teams. With Gay out for at least Saturday's game, however, expect to see more of Omri Casspi and Matt Barnes in his absence.
