Jazz's Joe Johnson: Production slowing down since season opener

Johnson scored 13 points (5-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and added five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 33 minutes in Wednesday's 97-81 win over the Mavericks.

Analysis:

Johnson's production has predictably taken a dive since he submitted 29 points in the season opener last Tuesday against the Trail Blazers, but the veteran is still making an impact for those in deep leagues through his solid, but unspectacular numbers across a variety of categories. Over his last four games, Johnson is averaging 9.8 points (on 38.5% shooting from the field), 3.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.0 steal in 31.0 minutes per contest, all of which should be sustainable for as long as he remains in a starting role at small forward while Gordon Hayward (finger) is sidelined.
