Bulls' Rajon Rondo: Notches first double-double of season

Rondo tallied 12 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block across 34 minutes in Wednesday's 107-100 loss to the Celtics.

Analysis:

Rondo rose to the occasion in a matchup with one of his former teams, collecting his first double-double of the season thanks to an enhanced rebound total. The assist production left a little to be desired, however, and Rondo hasn't had the impact in that category many of expected from him while playing alongside two accomplished scorers in Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade. He's averaging 7.8 dimes per game, which would represent his lowest mark since 2007-08 if it ends up holding.
