Grizzlies' Tony Allen: In the starting lineup Wednesday

Allen (knee) will start at shooting guard in Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, Phillip Dean of Sports 56 WHBQ-AM reports.

Analysis:

Allen, who was listed as probable heading into the contest for the second half of the Grizzlies' back-to-back set, made his season debut Tuesday against the Timberwolves. He came off the bench to play 19 minutes in the contest, and with his knee responding well, Allen will now be appointed to the starting five, where he'll likely remain for the bulk of the season now that he's healthy. Allen should see his minutes increase now that the knee injury is no longer an issue, but he's unlikely to supply much meaningful fantasy value as a defense-first player.
