Clippers' DeAndre Jordan: Grabs first double-double of season

Jordan went off for 19 points (8-10 FG, 3-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 31 minutes in Monday's 116-98 win over the Suns.

Analysis:

Playing with a taped right thumb after spraining the digit in Sunday's win over the Jazz, Jordan turned in his best outing of the season and was back to doing his usual damage near the rim. After shooting an uncharacteristic 5-for-17 from the floor over the first two games, Jordan feasted on a number of dunks and lay-ins to boost up his field-goal percentage to 48.1 percent for the season. Any concerns about the thumb were allayed by this performance, so Jordan should get back to racking up double-doubles with ease.
