Heat's Wayne Ellington: Not making much progress in recovery
Ellington (thigh) has yet to be cleared to run and is without a timetable for a return, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis:
After suffering a right thigh bruise in the Heat's Oct. 21 preseason finale, it was expected that Ellington would only be out of commission for a few days, but the injury has proven more problematic than the veteran had bargained for. Ellington noted that he's never been experienced a bruise that's been so painful, and since he has yet to resume even non-contact work at full speed, he'll likely be sidelined for several more games. The 28-year-old may not have a rotation spot waiting for him once he returns.
