Wizards' Marcin Gortat: Goes 10-for-10 from line Sunday

Gortat finished with 14 points (2-3 FG, 10-10 FT), 12 rebounds and one assist across 38 minutes in Sunday's 112-103 overtime loss to the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

After failing to get to the free-throw line in Thursday's season-opening loss to the Hawks, Gortat drew contact with ease Sunday, but that wasn't as surprising as his flawless shooting from the charity stripe. As a 68.5 percent career free-throw shooter, Gortat won't be in line for this sort of proficiency every night, but it certainly helped him prop up his scoring after he logged only three shot attempts from the field.
