Trail Blazers' Evan Turner: Hits double figures in scoring for first time this season

Turner totaled 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes in Saturday's 115-113 overtime win over the Nuggets.

Analysis:

Coach Terry Stotts has held Turner between 23 and 26 minutes in all three of the team's games, but this was the swingman's best performance in a Blazers uniform. After going 3-for-15 from the field in the first two contests, Turner shot the ball much more effectively and, as usual, contributed in other categories. Turner ceiling is a bit limited with the minutes at small forward and the other reserve wing spot being spread around evenly between him, Allen Crabbe and Maurice Harkless, but he'll still see the court often enough to make an impact for deep-league fantasy players.
