Charlotte Hornets center Roy Hibbert will not play in Saturday night's contest against the Boston Celtics due to soreness in his right knee, the team announced.

Big man Frank Kaminsky will make his season debut after missing the last two contests with a foot strain.

Hibbert was forced to leave Friday night's game versus the Miami Heat after sustaining the knee injury in the first quarter. The 29-year-old finished the contest with just one rebound in four minutes.

Kaminsky is coming off a strong rookie season where he averaged 7.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists while going 41 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from deep.

Cody Zeller will start at center in Hibbert's absence.
