Nets' Jeremy Lin: Falls just shy of triple-double Friday

Lin generated 21 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists and one block across 34 minutes in Friday's 103-94 win over the Pacers.

Analysis:

Lin narrowly missed out on the second triple-double of his career and his first since 2013-14, but he was spectacular nonetheless in helping the Nets claim their first win of the season. The 28-year-old isn't a premier point guard in real-life terms, but he looks like a strong candidate to post the best fantasy production of his career for a Nets squad that is woefully short on playmakers. He's averaged 19.5 points, 6.0 assists, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.0 block across 31.0 minutes per game through two contests.
