Heat's Josh McRoberts: No longer on injury report
McRoberts (foot) is no longer listed on the Heat's injury report in advance of Friday's matchup with the Hornets, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis:
After being limited by a stress reaction in his right foot throughout training camp and the preseason McRoberts finally returned to full practice earlier in the week, but didn't play in the team's opener Wednesday against the Magic. Considering he's no longer on the injury report, McRoberts will presumably be available to play Friday night, though it's possible he'll face a minutes restriction. McRoberts has previously seen most of his action at power forward in the past with the Heat, but is expected to play primarily at center in 2016-17. He'll battle Willie Reed for the top backup role behind starter Hassan Whiteside.
