Bucks' Greg Monroe: Gets double-double off bench Wednesday

Monroe accumulated 14 points (5-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one assist across 29 minutes in Wednesday's 107-96 loss to the Hornets.

Analysis:

After a horrible preseason, Monroe didn't show much improvement with his shooting in the season opener, but the Bucks needed his scoring with nobody among the starting unit with the exception of Giannis Antetokounmpo (31 points) willing to step up. Monroe ended up dominating the playing time at center while starter Miles Plumlee received only eight minutes, but that gap isn't expected to be quite as wide on most occasions throughout the season. Even so, Monroe offers the greater fantasy appeal of the two despite his standing as a bench player.
