Suns' Leandro Barbosa: Temporarily replaced on second unit

Coach Earl Watson said after Wednesday's season-opening loss to the Kings that Barbosa and P.J. Tucker are going to be temporarily replaced in the second unit by Tyler Ulis and Dragan Bender, Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic reports. "To me, they play with the most heart," Watson said in regards to Ulis and Bender. "Heart gets rewarded."

Analysis:

Barbosa was limited to just three minutes in his season debut, going scoreless (0-2 FG) with one rebound. With Brandon Knight already slated to see a ton of minutes at both guard spots off the bench, as well as Tyler Ulis now pushing ahead of him in the point guard pecking order, Barbosa could struggle to see minutes moving forward. He'll still have the chance to earn back Coach Earl Watson's trust, but that still likely wouldn't vault him ahead of the team's top two options, Eric Bledsoe and Knight, making Barbosa an option to avoid in the majority of fantasy leagues for the time being.
