Warriors' David West: Four turnovers in season-opening loss

West scored two points (1-2 FG) to go with two rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot across 11 minutes in Tuesday's 129-100 loss to the Spurs.

Analysis:

The 36-year-old power forward was hardly the reason the Warriors were blown out Tuesday, but he didn't look good during his time on the court, tying for the team high with four turnovers in scant minutes. West was part of a thin interior defense that was badly exposed by his former Spurs mates. He should rebound from this off night, but he'll need to find a way to positively impact games in what will perhaps be the most limited role he's ever had during his 14-year career.
