Warriors' Ian Clark: Off night in Tuesday's season opener

Clark scored five points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with two assists and one blocked shot across 13 minutes in Tuesday's 129-100 loss to the Spurs.

Analysis:

The offseason departure of Leandro Barbosa opens up more playing time at the fourth guard spot, and it looks as though Clark may get first crack at those duties. Clark flashed potential during the preseason, averaging 8.3 points while hitting down half of his three-point attempts, but playing against an elite team like the Spurs in a regular-season game is a different animal. After the game, Clark and the rest of Warriors sounded like they're ready to move on from the season-opening blowout, but the team has a few days off to stew until their next game Friday on the road against the Pelicans.
