Cavaliers' LeBron James: Starts season with triple-double

James scored 19 points (9-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding 14 assists, 11 rebounds and a blocked shot in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 117-88 win over the Knicks.

Analysis:

It was James' 43rd career triple-double, tying him with Fat Lever for sixth all-time in NBA history, while he became the first player to record a triple-double in a season opener since Jason Kidd achieved the feat in 2006. The Cavs' title defense -- and James' 14th NBA season -- are off to rousing starts.
