Knicks' Derrick Rose: Scores 17 in Knicks debut Tuesday

Rose scored 17 points (7-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding three rebounds, an assist and a block in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 117-88 loss to the Cavaliers.

Analysis:

The long-time Bulls point guard put together a solid line in his Knicks debut, as he took just one less shot than Carmelo Anthony. Rose has experience co-existing with a superstar wing in Chicago, but he wasn't able to average five assists a game playing alongside Jimmy Butler, and his numbers in that category could take a further tumble in New York with Anthony dominating the ball.
