Jazz's Alec Burks: To sit Tuesday against Trail Blazers

Burks (knee, ankle) won't play in Tuesday's season opener against the Trail Blazers, Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Burks missed the entire preseason while attempting to regain strength in his left ankle and knee and has yet to return to full practice. The Jazz don't have any real timetable for his return, so it may not advisable to hold onto him outside of the deepest of leagues.
