Mavericks' Devin Harris: Sidelined Wednesday against Pacers
Harris has been formally ruled out for Wednesday's preseason opener against the Pacers, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis:
Harris didn't even travel with the Mavericks to Indianapolis, adding credence to the notion that he's likely looking at an elongated absence. The veteran guard was slated to lose playing time this season anyway following the offseason pickup of Seth Curry, and now that he's already hurting, it could be tough for Harris to reclaim a spot in the rotation once he returns to full health.
