Lakers' Metta World Peace: Makes final roster
World Peace officially made the Lakers' 15-man roster Monday, ESPN.com's Marc Stein reports.
Analysis:
The Lakers elected to part ways with Anthony Brown, enabling World Peace to claim the final available spot on the wing. The veteran isn't expected to play a major role in 2016-17 after logging just 35 appearances with the Lakers a season ago, and he could be the first player to get cut if the team needs to add depth at another position. Most of the 36-year-old's value with the Lakers will come in the form of the mentoring he provides to the team's host of young players.
