Heat's Wayne Ellington: Does not take contact at practice Sunday

Ellington (quad) was held out of contact portions of Sunday's practice, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

Ellington was forced from Friday's preseason finale against the Sixers after suffering a quad contusion. Though he was limited in Sunday's practice, Ellington still has another two days to gear up for Wednesday's season opener against the Magic. The Heat will wait and see how he progresses before making a decision on his status.
