Bulls' Nikola Mirotic: Ready for opening night

Mirotic (back) was able to fully participate in practice Saturday, and is expected to be available for opening night, Nick Friedell of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Head coach Fred Hoiberg indicated following Saturday's practice that he has not yet made a decision on who will start at power forward opening night. The Bulls' roster is very slim when it comes to three point shooters, which increases Mirotic's value to the team. However, Taj Gibson still may get the starting nod. The situation figures to be fluid early on as the Bulls work with several lineups to figure out which ones they prefer.
