Suns' T.J. Warren: Declared starter for opener

Warren has officially been declared the Suns' starting small forward for Wednesday's season opener, The Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

P.J. Tucker, who started 80 games at small forward last season, could be available for the opener, but Warren will start. The plan is to build up Tucker's minutes slowly, but Warren presumably has the starting spot in his grasp at this point in time. It could be a fluid situation if he struggles early on, but with the Suns looking to increase their speed of play Warren fits in well with the starting unit.
