Trail Blazers' Meyers Leonard: Returns from back injury to lead bench

Leonard (back) paced the Blazers' reserves with 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and a rebound over 16 minutes in Friday's 107-96 preseason loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Leonard was able to make it back onto the court for the first time since Oct. 13 and turned in his best outing of the three preseason games he participated in. The 24-year-old will be counted on for his floor-stretching prowess in the coming season as part of the frontcourt rotation behind starters Al-Farouq Aminu and Mason Plumlee.
