Lakers' D'Angelo Russell: Fills out stat sheet to close out preseason

Russell managed 17 points (5-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and two steals over 30 minutes in Friday's 98-94 preseason loss to the Suns.

Analysis:

Russell struggled against the Warriors three games ago but bounced back to close out the preseason with a pair of strong outings. The second-year point guard did struggle from the field again, however, and just shot between 30 and 38.5 percent over the last three preseason games overall. However, given his pedigree and role in the Lakers offense, Russell shapes up as a prolific fantasy producer in the coming season, his first as a full-time starter.
