Suns' T.J. Warren: Closes out preseason with solid outing

Warren managed 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and two steals over 29 minutes in Friday's 98-94 preseason win over the Lakers.

Analysis:

Warren finished up his regular-season prep with another solid showing, his fifth straight double-digit scoring outing. The third-year forward will kick off the season as the starter at the three in P.J. Tucker's (back) stead and could conceivably remain entrenched in the first unit even after the latter is healthy enough to return. Warren flashed some impressive shooting in particular during his six exhibition tilts, tallying a 50 percent or better success rate in three of those games.
