Jazz's Boris Diaw: Did not practice Friday

Diaw did not practice Friday due to a left leg contusion, Radio play-by-play announcer David Locke reports.

Analysis:

When exactly Diaw suffered from the leg injury is unknown, but with four days to rest until the start of the regular season for the team, it doesn't appear that the newest member of the Jazz is at risk of missing the start of the regular season. Diaw is in line to serve as the team's backup center behind Rudy Gobert while also filling in at power forward behind starter Derrick Favors and Trey Lyles.
