Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: Will sit against Dallas

Arthur (knee) will not play Friday against Dallas, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Arthur underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in September and has therefore been a limited participant in practice while attempting to work his way back to full health by the beginning of the regular season. Considering that he wasn't a practice participant Thursday, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that he's held out of the Nuggets' preseason finale against Dallas. It's likely that Denver is holding him out so he can make his debut for the regular season opener on Oct 26.
