Bulls' Taj Gibson: Near double-double to close out preseason

Gibson registered 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and a block over 26 minutes in Thursday's 97-81 preseason loss to the Hawks.

Analysis:

The veteran forward closed out what has been an impressive preseason with his fifth outing of 50 percent or better shooting in as many games. Gibson also came within a rebound of his third double-double of the exhibition slate and has locked down the starting power forward role heading into the regular season.
