Kings' Arron Afflalo: Ready to go for regular season

Afflalo (glute) said his recent injuries were minor and that he expects to be ready for the regular season opener, ABC10 Sacramento reporter Sean Cunningham reports.

Analysis:

Afflalo was reportedly held out of the Kings' final two preseason outings due to a strained glute, but it was a apparently a plethora of minor injuries that were keeping him sidelined to go along with the glute. With that said, Afflalo cleared himself of any lingering issues and indicated he'll be available for Kings' regular season opener on Oct. 26, so look for him to be ready to start the season as the team's No. 1 shooting guard.
