Trail Blazers' Festus Ezeli: Limited participant at practice Thursday

Ezeli (knee) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Casey Holdahl of TrailBlazers.com reports.

Analysis:

Ezeli missed the entirety of the preseason thus far and will not take part in Friday's finale versus the Warriors. However, it was a big step in the right direction Thursday, as he was able to participate in practice for the first time in awhile. He's yet to be given any sort of timetable for a return and it's widely believed he'll open the regular season on the sidelines, but we should get some additional updates regarding his availability as the regular season opener approaches on Oct. 25.
