Hornets' Frank Kaminsky: Starts at power forward Thursday

Kaminsky will start at power forward in Thursday's preseason matchup with the Heat, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.

Analysis:

Marvin Williams was diagnosed with a fractured left middle finger earlier in the week, so Kaminsky, his primary backup, will unsurprisingly get the call to move up the depth chart. The Hornets remain hopeful to have Williams available for the Oct. 26 regular-season opener or shortly thereafter, so Kaminsky's time on the top unit likely won't be extensive.
