Mavericks' Nicolas Brussino: Expects to make final roster
The Mavericks are expected to keep Brussino on their 15-man roster to begin the season, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports.

With roster cuts looming as the preseason schedule nears its conclusion, it appears Brussino, an undrafted rookie from Argentina, has done enough to lock up a roster spot. His minimum contract for 2016-17 will become fully guaranteed at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, so Brussino should get some peace of mind earlier than most of the Mavs' other camp invitees. The 23-year-old is viewed as mostly a developmental option and won't vie for a rotation spot as a rookie.
