Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving: Does not practice Thursday

Irving (calf) didn't participate in practice Thursday, Joe Vardon of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Irving is still aching a bit after leaving Tuesday's preseason finale against the Wizards with left calf tightness, but the team insists he's not at risk of missing the regular-season opener Oct. 25 against the Knicks. After he was limited for the first couple months of last season while recovering from a fractured kneecap, Irving's fantasy outlook is much brighter heading into the upcoming campaign.
