Pacers' Myles Turner: Closes preseason on high note

Turner posted 16 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and one assist across 26 minutes in Wednesday's 111-103 preseason loss to the Bucks.

Analysis:

Many fantasy touts have labeled Turner as a breakout candidate heading into training camp, and he hasn't done much to dissuade that thinking with his excellent showing in the preseason. The 20-year-old shot 50 percent from the field in three of his four appearances while submitting averages of 12.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.2 assists, numbers that shine even brighter after considering he averaged 24.2 minutes per game. It's possible Turner may trend closer to 30 minutes during the regular season, which could potentially put him in line to challenge for double-double production to go along with an excellent block total.
