Knicks' Brandon Jennings: Starts again, struggles in win over C's

Jennings started at point guard in Wednesday's 121-96 preseason win over the Celtics and finished with three points (0-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 20 minutes.

Analysis:

Jennings notched his fourth consecutive start in place of Derrick Rose (personal). He's expected to start again in Thursday's exhibition finale against the Nets, but with Rose's civil trial in Los Angeles concluding Wednesday, the former MVP is expected to reclaim the starting job for the Oct. 25 regular-season opener. Jennings will serve as the No. 2 point guard this season and could see an expanded role should Rose struggle out of the gate.
