Grizzlies' Deyonta Davis: Cleared to play Wednesday
Davis (foot) will play in Wednesday's preseason game against the Timberwolves, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.
Analysis:
This is big news for Davis, as he's dealt with lingering plantar fasciitis in his left foot and his status for the start of the regular season opener was in question. As long as he doesn't suffer a setback or experience any renewed pain following Wednesday's contest, Davis should be good to go. He's not expected to man a rotation spot this season, however, so he's not worth consideration in the bulk of fantasy leagues.
