Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Perfect from field in double-double effort

Thompson posted 14 points (6-6 FG, 2-5 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes in Tuesday's 96-91 preseason loss to the Wizards.

Analysis:

It was only Thompson's second appearance of the preseason after he was previously limited by a foot injury, but the Cavs' starting center looked to be in his usual form Tuesday night. He'll rarely see many shot attempts on the offensive end beyond putbacks and finishing off alley-oops, but the 25-year-old stacks up with just about anyone for his prowess on the glass on both sides of the court. That could put him in line for around 25-to-30 double-doubles over the course of the campaign.
