Magic's Aaron Gordon: Out vs. Heat

Gordon won't play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Heat due to an ankle injury, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Considering Gordon sprained his left ankle in a pre-training camp workout and was limited early on in the preseason schedule, his absence is presumably more for maintenance purposes than anything else. The third-year forward has played in each of the last three exhibition contests, logging 20, 27 and 33 minutes, respectively. His final opportunity to get back on the floor prior to the regular season will come Thursday, when the Magic take on the Pelicans in the preseason finale for both teams.
