Magic's Bismack Biyombo: To be rested Tuesday

Biyombo will be held out of Tuesday's preseason game against the Heat for rest purposes, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Biyombo will get the night off after playing a preseason-high 36 minutes in the Magic's matchup with the Hawks on Sunday. In that game, Biyombo scored just seven points, but tallied 19 rebounds, five blocks, two assists and a steal, offering a preview of what intrigued the Magic enough to offer the big man a four-year, $72 million contract in July. Expect Biyombo to return for Thursday's preseason finale against the Pelicans, but keep in mind that he's suspended for the Oct. 26 regular-season opener against the Heat.
