Heat's Hassan Whiteside: Out vs. Magic

Whiteside won't play in Tuesday's exhibition against the Magic in order to tend to a personal matter, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

Whiteside is away from the team following a death in the family, but he's expected to rejoin the Heat prior to Thursday's matchup with the Hornets in the preseason finale for both teams. Willie Reed is expected enter the starting lineup at center Tuesday in Whiteside's place and could be in line for a hefty workload.
