Clippers' Alan Anderson: Not playing Monday

Anderson (rest) will sit out Monday's preseason outing versus the Jazz.

Analysis:

Anderson joins a list of inactives that includes Blake Griffin (rest), DeAndre Jordan (rest) and Chris Paul (thumb), which should give some of the Clippers' reserves a chance to see extended minutes. With Anderson sidelined, look for Luc Mbah a Moute and Wesley Johnson to get the majority of the minutes at small forward Monday. The trio will continue to compete for a starting role, although a final decision shouldn't be far off with the regular season less than two weeks away.
